I would like to thank the IPM committee and all who were involved in giving me such a prestigious award on this 50th anniversary. It was a great surprise and shock.

When I turned around to face the crowd, my heart gave a flip to see so many women in the crowd. I realized this is what I was working for all these years, to see so many women taking the same interest in our industry, as their mates. To my surprise when the program was ended, one of the speakers, Patricia Vittum Ph.D., came to me and congratulated me on a job well done, and said she hoped she can come back some other time. This is the first time a speaker has told me she enjoyed the delegates. Thank you Patricia for your kind words, we do appreciate your good job; well done. Once again I thank everyone very much.
