New weed-info service now online
A new website featuring the latest information, illustrations and photographs on weeds is now available.
The project involved a team made up of weed scientists, extension specialists, ecologists, plant taxonomists and an environmental management expert. The project was led by Mike Cowbrough of OMAFRA.
The website can be used as a search tool by typing in the name of a weed (common names, botanical name, or Bayer code) to access information for that specific weed. If you don’t know the name of the weed, simply search using descriptive terms such as yellow flower, or thistle.
